A long awaited picture post
First things first. I made this bag right at the beginning of the year.

It’s made from a skirt.

It's really rather spacious. I need a light to find things in it sometimes.

It also has a secret pocket.

And is lined with lime green fabric, yes.

Did you notice the buttons? No? Well, I got a whole bunch of neat ones. That I will show you.
The black ones that I used on the bag.

More black ones. And er, yes. I may make a set of button-glasses.

These are PROPER brass buttons.

And the back...

This one has a neat pattern. I only have one though. :(

A nice flower one... again, I only have one, but I'm going to turn it into jewellery or something.

This is just pretty 'cos it's pierced.

Another flower button... with lots of detail

Enough for two photos!

I promised photos of Tanpopo's cage progress. It's gotten a bit further than this, but it's pretty much permanently stalled at the moment...

Yup, two rings, a complicated looking thing and the perch... that's all I took photos of. -_-;;
And now for something completely different.
I have a DS lite. It was getting scratched up in my handbag (as seen above) so I made a case for it.
This is a kind of step by step... this is all the pieces cut out. I basically flopped my DS on the felt and marked how long a piece I needed, added seam allowance and then added seven or so centimetres to the height for top and bottom seam.

All the pieces sewn and needlefelted on.

CLOSEUPS!

Sewn up and with one half of the fastener attached...

The completed product!

The next project I did was because the bags we get given (for free) at course are ugly and everyone knows what type of course you're doing because they have the school emblazoned on the front.

So I painted the front of one (yes, I have two) with acrylic medium and white paint so I could do something on top of it. And dry brushed the rest of it for good measure.

I ended up painting a heart, some Tsubasa inspired wings and VINES.

Seriously, I do those things a lot.

I redid the wing by the way, as I wasn't happy with the first one.

And the finished product!!

Cake. Sponge. Cream. Jam. Pink Lemonade. I haven't really taken any more pictures of things I've made. (That are on my laptop.)
