Shipping in my sleep FTW!

The shipping in my sleep was DouWataHima, and was dreamt sometime shortly after the new year.
Doumeki was an archer, who protected the castle that Himawari and Watanuki lived in. Himawari was the princess, and Watanuki was her retainer/adviser.

Anyway, Himawari loved Doumeki who liked Watanuki who had a crush on Himawari. Watanuki thought of Doumeki as annoying who thought Himawari’s love was unsafe and she thought Watanuki was just useful.

Until… the castle is under attack.

Doumeki is on the walls, defending the castle but Himawari has sent Watanuki with encouragement/urgent message that the enemy has gotten past them and are hunting her down.
He thinks that her sending him Watanuki was stupid, so he sends him back, although he gives Watanuki one of his arrows to ‘protect’ the two of them and gives him orders to protect Himawari whatever the cost in lieu of him being there.
And then returns to firing arrows at the ninjas. (Who are attacking.)

Watanuki races back, having to dodge ninjas and fire, sometimes falling as he skids across the wooden floors, ending up with the arrow breaking. However, he manages to make it back to Himawari, who is hiding in a storeroom, with both pieces of the arrow in hand.
He hands her one, telling her that Doumeki will protect them, they just need to wait.
So they wait and somehow during the wait/protecting the castle, they all realise they love each other. Unfortunately, they all die, Doumeki being shot down by enemies and Watanuki and Himawari by either burning (the [wooden] castle is on fire, remember?) or the storeroom collapsing on them (again, the fire).

All very sad, except I woke up KNOWING that in the reincarnation after that one, they all got together. So happy, in the end.
(And I totally thought up a prequel where it’s only Watanuki and Doumeki who die tragically together while I lay in bed contemplating my dream.)

 

I was going to go on about another, older dream, that involved shape-shifting animals, a train station in a supermarket and young children who could see the true forms of the shape-shifters as long as they didn’t touch them. It was epic, and I had written a third of it, but then my document crashed and I couldn’t retrieve it. T__T

Ahh, dreams. I don't think I've ever dreamt of animanga in dreams though, strangley enough =P

Usually it's just one or two random characters that appear as background characters, I don't get 'complete' ones like this very often.
Animanga dreams are usually a lot more sane than all my other dreams though...

I actually tend to have a good number of fandom type dreams, though the craziest one I ever had was the one where I dreamed I was Sheska and I was on a secret mission to infiltrate a Christmas party, at which I was supposed to kill Harry Potter .__. And I had a talking cat and dog as my accomplices. Most of mine do tend to stick to one fandom though (like last night Mustang and Hawkeye showed up randomly at one point oO not quite sure why).
