009 of Bleach, English dub

So I stayed up late to watch Bleach after Mythbusters. 

Voice acting was meh for most, liked Rukia, thought Jyuushiro's was a bit too hale and hearty sounding, wondered what the hell happened to Masaki and approve of daddy Kurosaki's voice.
Also, I pondered on several things:

like why Masaki wore knee high stockings. (It's something an obaa-san would do, not an okaa-san)
even though Yuzu and Karin are only 11, they're so close to being teenagers. (<--- random)
how in the beginning of the series losing a tiny bit of blood and being stabbed through the shoulder is serious hurt, although later... it's only a little sting.
ICHIRUKI, how can Western people miss it?! (Maybe it's just my mum's influence though...)

I have more theories to supplement why the Western world supports IchiHime more proficiently than the Eastern.

My friend has been bitching about how the new chapter of Bleach have practically thrown away the IchiRuki and are now doing this IchiHime, and i don't blame him. IchiRuki is the way to go. Though, most westerners go for the pairing with the big boobs... my friend and i are strange i guess...

I have theories/theory on why Westerners favour IchiHime. I should get around to posting that...

Strange though... is that me and all my Bleach friends in RL support IchiRuki.
I have hope that the IchiHime will pass from these most recent chapters.
