Sleipnir has updated and their new site is so fucking awesome.
It's properly translated and they've even got a segment just for New Zealand.

Yes, I am a program geek, but Sleipnir is the best browser ever! (And has an awesome name.) The plug-ins look awesome too.

This post contains too many instances of the word awesome.

Because in more awesome news, there's a new Artemis Fowl book out.
I THINK FILLING OUT MY ARTEMIS COLLECTION NOW TAKES PRECEDENT OVER BREAKING DAWN. *fangirls again*

Somehow, an anti-hero genius boy and tough female fairy are so perfect together. *sighs again* The Last Colony was made of awesome~ and if Eoin Colfer continues in the same vein.... *drools*

I'm still using IE :S

And I love the word awesome. It's awesomely awesome.
And I finished Breaking Dawn.
And I cannot believe that I didn't know that Artemis Fowl is still around. I loved him! I can't even remember where I read up to :( But Holly rocked my socks!

IE's okay, it's just I can't uninstall and reinstall it on Vista to debug it. And Sleipnir's the best of both Firefox and IE because you can use both engines.

Awesome is awesome.
Yay! Or not yay. Is it as bad as the spoilers say?

*nods vigorously* Yes, The Last Colony came out a couple of years ago and the latest one just recently. *wants to fill the gaps in her collection so badly*

And Holly is awesome.

I'm sure i'll get around to using something other than IE one day :P
Awesome is undoubtedly awesome...
I liked it. And I'm a pretty hardcore fan, despite the lack of fics, etc... I think the haters are just upset that it wasn't what they in particular dreamed it to be - and with all the hype, it was bound to disappoint some. Yes, I liked it. It was different than the others, but you have to think about the time frames in the books, the ages, etc, and how Meyer's writing and experience has changed.
I was upset about some parts, but that's pretty much how everything always is - nothing is perfect!

I may have to scour the library then!

Awesome is, without a doubt, the most awesome thing to ever happen. *continues the awesomeosity*

*shrugs* I'll probably end up partially enjoying it still, even if I will still be shuddering at Renesme or however you're supposed to spell it.
I still need to read the Host~

So I suppose that the Artemis Fowl books are really good then?

I think read one a few years back (or longer?) and liked it, but just didn't have the access to the others so I moved on to other books and fandoms. Should I go back then?

I'm a not-so-rabid Twilighter... my copy of BD is in the mail and will hopefully arrive tomorrow. :D I want to know what happens! But I'm not one of the die-hard fans that just HAD to have their book at midnight when it was released...

They're decent and Artemis Fowl is a very entertaining anti-hero.
I don't know though about the going back to them... if you don't mind the overt Artemis/Holly hints or like them, then I do recommend going back. However, if you think that's a bit weird, disconcerting, etc. then don't. It does get a bit fanservicey in The Last Colony but I'm not sure about Time Paradox, the most recent one.

Same here! I don't particularly mind when I get around to reading it (I'll probably borrow it from one of my Twilighter friends before getting my own copy), just as long as it's by the end of the year.
I want to finish the series rather than know what happens though.
Oh! And welcome back!

It's always the case isn't it, you want to go back to the library but need to pay a fine...

It's okay, I understand you were have some RL issues? (I think? I only glanced at your LJ once or twice.)
