Nyan, a late night post before I go to sleep.

I've decided that I'm going to try doing my essay writing practice on the... train. Because short of looking myself in a cupboard or empty room, I'm not going to be able to practice when there are so many distractions.

However... I'd rather not have to write boring ones on boring thematic topics like "New media is an interesting form for an author to express their ideas in. Discuss how your text explored this new form of communication" or "New Zealand is a melting pot of cultures and traditions. Explain how having no cultural norm demonstrates cultural diversity in New Zealand" so I'd like some suggestions on topics/questions or essay-question queries that you'd like to hear my answer to.

I have a few... but only enough to last me half a week.

I'm doing English and Social Studies essays, so either pick one of those two subjects or combine the two into something whacky

This is kind of like a meme, so treat it like a meme. Everyone's welcome to comment~

What are you practicing writing essays for? Is it a timed exam? If so, how long will you have?

End of year exams. And yeah, they do have a time limit. 3 hours. I'm only sitting one paper for each session though, so as long as I don't take over two hours, I should be fine.

They're last year of high school/university entrance level, though I'm pretty sure they don't want more than about 500-750 words at the very most.

That answer your questions?

Absolutely, thanks! Wow, do you take these at the end of this semester? That seems early for uni entrance exams.

English and Social Studies, hm? How about something on the impact of literacy levels on involvement in government/society? Sorry I'm not more specific, but I barely remember what falls under the 'social studies' heading anymore : (

Our school year is markedly different, mostly because our seasons are opposite to yours. So we have summer holidays over the Christmas/New Year period. And they aren't university entrance exams per se either. Most of the uni courses are open entry except for arts based ones and a few which need prerequisites.

You don't have to mush the two together, it's just two which I've come up with have social issues that are present in the text and just make it easy. (In this case, the visual indicator of virginity in Loveless and how that affects the social structure and in Naruto, the moral decision to become child soldiers placed upon children who have not yet developed a sufficient moral compass.)

So you can just give me a literary themed question.

Yes, it is Social Studies related. But it's incredibly boring.
But I will display for you the essay sparked by it, sooner or later.
