So. Wait. Does the time rewrite thing mean that CoE could NEVER HAVE HAPPENED?
Because I think it does. Oh yes. I think it does.
Also, I will place something metaphysical down on Amy being the Pandorico/Pandorical.
I am also giggling somewhat over that it's a "Fairy tale" as the Trickster is apparently just that and... well he make Sarah Jane's life a misery on a regular basis, so... (And I so want to write little!Master and Doctor trying to scare each other by telling each other Gallifreyan fairy tales. I will, someday.)
River's teleport looked rather like Haineko's shikai release. You know, just randomly.
The end? Just. No.
I wanted to slap her but then the Doctor slithered out of it and I cheered for him.
And yay, another male companion~ I like male companions. Aside from the obvious OT3/slash potential, there's just the fact that two guys having time travel adventures in space is oddly fluffy and comforting. Maybe it's because I watched Hitchhiker's Guide before Doctor Who but... I like the male companions. Especially Wilf, even though he was only really honorary for the most part.
And the companions thing? Totally why this fic is one of my favourites.

Date: 2010-05-31 08:42 am (UTC)I really hope they stick with the "older male role model person-thing/young ingenue" dynamic, because well, I've never really shipped the Doctor with any of his companions. (Except Sarah Jane kind of, but I haven't seen her episodes with the Third or Fourth Doctors yet...)
But yes, she's still little Amelia Pond to him, only she's got this adorable little boyfriend with her now as well.
Amy did kind of come across as kind of getting cold feet though. So whatever the romantic version of cat waxing is, she was doing it. I kind of want to go 'But you're engaged, you can't change that!' except of course with the whole rewriting time thing...
