"Goodnight Orihime." With a click the light switched off, replaced with a soft glow emanating from the kitchen. Orihime fancied that the ceiling sparkled above her like the stars outside, the light glittering down and making her shine and glint.

She giggled into her pillow, muffling the sound and sending the scent of shampoo into her nose as she breathed in, making her giggle even more before she sneezed.
The cuff of her pyjama sleeve stiffled the small explosion, her nose twitching and tickling as she wiped it, setting off a new bunch of giggles at how the freesia scented shampoo smelled so good but also smelled like old aunties.

"Orihime? Are you still awake?" Her brother's head poked around from the kitchen, his hair falling around his face making a very scary shadow...

"Aiiieee!" The blankets were clutched up to her nose momentarily before they were lowered and she responded to her brother's question.
"Yes, I am."

He padded over, still wearing his work clothes.
"What's wrong? Or are you too excited to sleep again?" He smiled when she nodded in response to the second question, sitting himself down on his futon next to hers, the one he'd taken out of the closet at the same time so he wouldn't wake her later.
"What type of story shall I tell then?" Sora's voice was smooth and caring and Orihime already felt the thoughts slowing down in her head.

"Umm... What about a princess whose head is full of fluttery things and she lives in the stars?"

Her brother chuckled at the idea. "Sounds very much like you Orihime."

"But I live in this house with you and I'm an Orihime." Her expression was deadpan as she explained their situation to him.

"Indeed," he chuckled and cleared his throat to begin story telling.
"Once upon a time, there was a princes who lived up in the clouds in a palace made of feathers. However, living so high," he smiled at Orihime, "her palace was constantly full with things like butterflies. And, as such, they kept on flying around her and zooming in and out of her head."

Orihime giggled at the thought of butterflies flying in and out of someone's head.

"The only way she could get rid of them was by wearing a scarf all the time. Of course, it's very cold up in the sky so this wasn't a problem, but the fact was that it needed to be a-"
At this point in the story, Orihime's giggles were getting the better of her, bubbling over and mounting into a full fledged laughing fit. Sora stopped there and waited until she was back to giggling, smiling as he talked softly again.

"I don't think this little princess will be able to sleep with stories of butterflies fluttering around her head tonight. Why don't you help me with my paperwork? Maybe my little sister will be able to able to solve some of the problems." He held his hand out to haul her up, hoping that boring business papers would keep the butterflies out of his sister's head.
