I'll be a bit giggly and post the Neil Gaiman gets kissed link. Obviously something went very wrong in the universe at that point in time.
Either that or Desire was feeling vindictive.

So...
random fandom post with theories and rants.

In the past couple of weeks it has been revealed:

- who Naruto's parents are
- and Nell was an espada.

On the Naruto note, there has been LOADS of fanart on dA with any combination of the three. 
What bugs me, is the 'he [Yondaime] must've been able to tolerate her to marry her' artist comments I sometimes see. Mostly I see random frothing mouth artist comments, because I do have to admit, having that theory confirmed is absolutely AMAZING. 
So er yeah... I doubt they would've gotten married. It just doesn't seem practical. Sure, everyone probably knew about them, but I see no marriage. (I could go on a tangent about how that kind of thing just never happens in manga. You just don't have that kind of thing, unless it's the end of a shoujo series.)

On the Bleach note, I'll ramble about Nell.
And how SHE'S STILL WEARING HER ESPADA CLOTHES BECAUSE THAT GREEN POTATO SACK PONCHO IS COVERING EVERYTHING UP.
Well, either that or it's covering up her tattoo. 

I've been spending too much time with people like Chibi on Gaia. Either that or I'm cracked out on freshly baked brownies (RHI, I HAVE OLIVANI NOW. Although not this batch...) and mentions of shoujo. Because I smell a flashback OR a transformation sequence to a goddess of womankind for Nell. 
Which I just realised makes sense. 

Because Nell doesn't really eat other hollows. I highly doubt that she was an itty-bitty baby espada. Maybe she shrunk after not having enough super tea cream of hollow and her real form is... ahem, a stunning example of womanhood. (I just brushed my teeth, can you tell?)
So yes... late night ruminations. 

In other news, I watched the episode of Dr. Who where they travel to Elizabethan times and visit Shakespeare. INSTANT HP CROSSOVER.
Although it did loose the effect it did coming 1 and a bit months after the release of the book (You know the 'You should read the seventh book. It's a cracker" line?)
Part of me was awaiting a Sandman cross over and Morpheous would pop out of nowhere from behind Will's shoulder and give random advice.

Crossovers would be quite fun if they just popped out of nowhere. Like Bones and FMA; Tsubasa and His Dark Materials (Lyra's Oxford) or Young Wizards. (I'm still not quite sure what that extra fandom/world would've been good for TRC...) Or weird mashy things like Bleach, xxxHOLiC and Ghost Hunt to be watched in one sitting. (Which reminds me, we should so do that for an informal animeathon. What ep of Ghost Hunt were we on?)
Or... the ultimate butterfly crossover: Bleach, xxxHOLiC, Greek Mythology, Sandman. IT'S THERE.

I think the brownies are still in effect.

More butterflies: D. Gray-man, This Ugly Yet Beautiful World, the most recent chapter of Naruto and whichever Discworld book it is that has the quantum weather butterfly.
Crossovers take over your brain if you're not careful.

It's more the hell butterflies - butterflies that relate to spirits - Greek mythology concerning moths/butterflies (ie, they carry the souls of the dead/dreams) - Death & Dream
