REALLY OLD. I'm about four episodes behind because it was really weird watching 144 without doing anything.

So brace yourselves for code fail endless excitement!


I can put videos onto my new cellphone. Which means I might be able to get through eps that much quicker. If I split them up into little bits because I have no fastforward button. They also tend to 'stick'

Anyway. We're getting a new OP and ED this week. There's recap here, along with the pretty music. And glowy scenes. ULQUIORRA HAS SKIN TONE? I don't care about Orihime saying goodbye to Ichigo, ULQUIORRA HAS SKIN TONE.

Karakura is pretty at dawn. And Ichigo is actually wearing pyjamas this time, instead of t-shirt and trackies.
His hand is healed! Only it's not as pretty as it was previously.
Hitsugaya's appearance is rather dramatic. And swoonish. But it's too early to be up and about in his real body so he's going there in spirit form. !Expressions of shock!
Wait a second, if he thinks she's been kidnapped or murdered, then… oh right, because Ichigo then brandishes his wrist. Which he does.
Oh, so that's what the facepalm was for. He was feeling Orihime's reiatsu! Pshaw, has he never heard of a thing called coercion?
Renji's feeling smart, he thought he could outwit the sou-taicho.

And their entrace is nowhere as near dramatic as in the manga. And Kenpachi is strangely pretty. So that's what they were doing waiting. Byakuya was prettying him up. Or they were doing each others hair.

Pasta pizza? Anyway, that certainly isn't Orihime as she has no eyes! And there is apparrently another school in Karakura. With a blue uniform.
And at least there isn't an upside down tap in the Vaizard hangout. Mashiro sounds so cute! But annoying. And gratuitous buttshot.
And I question Isshin's taste in shirts. Isn't he being a bit too obvious? (aside from the creepy… But that's usual)
His sisters are mothering him. Although I bet they think he's anorexic or something because he doesn't eat often.

AND YAY! Back to school.
He's doing that weird smily thing again!
And this is where my inner IchiTatsu shipper comes out and starts squealing and flailing. If I were nonsensical, I'd say that surely all the looks they're giving each other means something. Although… they're pretty strong anyway, although not in a shipping way… more a 'you betrayed my trust now DIE' way. But I have to quiver at the 'What am I to you?' line.
And now Urahara's plan reveals.
YAY ISHIDA! It's been so long since I heard your voice! And you're not beaten up! Yet. And I always laugh at Chad's pants.
And then the ending again and I see Tatsuki and I know that this is the second to last time we'll see her for absoutely AGES.

And then there's the omake, which everyone should know about. They were fixing each others hair.
I need raws for screencapping the openings. Some of this opening is so pretty.

Oooh, I didn't mention how much I loved Tatsuki's voice in the last one, did I? Well I did. And there were also sparklies when Chad punched at Ichigo. Many, many sparkles.
This episode has been wel documented as to bits that have been added. Although I would ike to state that Mizuiro is such a girl. And that out of context, Tatsuki's lines seem really shippy.
But why is there a teakettle in the nurses office? And who let the rookie at the finished cut?
I do believe that Keigo smiled just then because he was being a perv. Votes for Tatsuki being leader? And er… she too has a crush on Ichigo?
Yay! The modsouls will now go bye-bye! And Nova's being very talkitive. Urahara's "hai-hai!" is so fun.
Ah! The movie version of Number One. Ichigo looks WEIRD!

And this bit which means we won't see the Karakura people for ages and ages. Even though we don't know what Urahara's 'job' is.
It seems that Aizen's catchphrase is 'Sou da, ne?" He says it so often.
Oooh, Orihime got called 'onna'.
Pretty red lights and this excitement music. And we have another psycho…

Ooooh! Follow the yellow brick road? Only it would really really suck if someone twisted their ankle on it. Like really.
And NOW we see a beat up Ishida jr. *squees* And him getting all worried over Orihime. The background music is something called "I will save you". I think. Very appropriate.
But he's got a waist. Or appears to have one. It's amusing the only way you can tell they're moving is that Ishida's cape is flowing.
YAY! The daddies! But why does Isshin have weird lineart style? Or why does Ryuuken bear a resemblance to John Lennon? This makes me want more of the papas.
YAY! They kept that frame transition.

Heheh, the mod souls' gigai were destroyed. And Ryuuken has a pocket ashtray. (I find this amusing for some reason. As well as he fact it's red and not like silver or blue, black or white.)

Okay, after piecing together that lovely pan of Isshin, I have come to the conclusion his sword is a tachi, which is a ceremonial sword and uses two straps to hold it in place and has decoration on the scabbard.

Capespace n.
Similar to hammerspace, this is used almost exclusively by the Quincys to store spare capes and first aid kits. Szayel Apollo Grantz does not have capespace, just a changing room.

Cleavage chill n.
When you are wearing a top which exposes your cleavage/top half of your chest and the wind is blowing into your face, the exposed skin on your chest feels very cold.
Matsumoto suffers from this a lot and Orihime's arrancar outfit was specifically designed to minimize the risk of being afflicted by it.

This is where I make a comment about how they may be a band, but look like a yaoi doujinshi cover. Also, the one on the right looks like some Ichigo/Urahara lovechild, whereas the one on the left looks like a Hanatarou/Rin lovechild
