Once, when he was little, Ishida's mother had read him a fairy tale called 'Rumplestiltskin'. He had laughed over the funny name of the troll and wondered why anyone would want a barn full of gold thread. His mother had laughed at his innocent question, answering that some people were very greedy.
Ishida had pouted at this, thinking it was a silly thing to want. His mother simply hugged him and continued reading the story, her soft voice carefully pronouncing the words.

It's only when he wakes up one morning, a crack in the curtains sending a ray of golden light onto the pillow beside him that he understand what gold thread is worth.

There are small white clouds scudding across the sky today. The weather from the daffodil hills has finally come up to my mountain and it's no longer the chilly mountain spring that it has been, but the clear summers that it's becoming.
My cousin of the rain won't be going out today. She'll have her umbrella sitting by the door while she busies about doing her laundry. I do feel quite sorry for her, as she can never get her cottons to press crisply. I suppose that's one of the things one has to deal with when you're a spirit.
That thought makes me smile. She's usually so good at the washing, but she gets so irritated if her shirts aren't pressed properly. I shouldn't be laughing at her misfortune but...
Swinging my feet lightly, I giggle.

It's such a nice day, one should laugh.

Karin didn't need to be told by their father that she and Yuzu were two totally different people.

They were having a very fun time in this world, Mokona thought. After all, Mokona makes the best type of fun!

Stale air blew, making the lantern's flame flicker, its light wavering over the burial ledges on either side of the path as she walked. There was almost nothing placed on the small ledge she approached, an incomplete skeleton lying with a jade medallion placed between two of its ribs. Two sticks of incense are lit and a simple prayer is murmured before the dark figure moves back down to the catacomb's entrance.
Ran Fuan is the only visitor to Ling Yao's remains.

Sister, I am not quite sure what you mean by this...
The doggy told me that you give things to people you love today so I gave sister a pineapple tree with birds in it and I gave brother some birdies he can put in his garden because it's so quite there and our other sister a bunny with its head chopped off because she'd rather like that don't you think and I gave brothersister an old shoe someone had forgotten and I really wanted to give him something but doggy said I shouldn't go off looking for him again so I might as well give him what I was going to. I gave him some butterflies to chase around, they turned into donuts though, so I don't know why you don't like this.
Delerium held out the set of deer antlers with a set of roses blossoming out of each point towards her elder brother and smiled.

I technically made three icons for the seventh day, but I kinda forgot the prompt so it's more candy-coloured clouds than balloons.
Here is is though:
