grassangelI'm getting irritated. And it ain't pretty.
While I do so adore the latest chapters starring (for the most part anyway) Ishida, Nell and that weird pink!Ryuuken arrancar, I'm getting frayed nerves by the fact we have no news of those back in Karakura.
I just want one chapter, one page even of what's going on (provided it isn't at the end of a chapter and portents doom) back home.
I don't care if it's the Vaizard, Chizuru and the other girls, the shoten or anything else. I just want NEWS.
But particularly I want to find out what happening with the Kurosakis (Karin and Ishhin really, though Yuzu'd be nice as a bonus), Ryuuken and Keigo, Mizuiro, Tatsuki, maybe even Kon.
I want to know what's happening. I'll even settle for hints at this stage because we need normalacy. I'd even settle for an Orihime chapter with her wondering what's going on back at home.

bleachness Gaia; a Bleach manga thread and someone's comment about the three strongest people in Karakura and how they weren't Yoruichi and Urahara and how they might be Isshin and Ryuuken. Combine that with a nice long soak in the bath and a mind that was supposed to be focusing on Christmas art of some kind and you get theories about how maybe it's Keigo, Mizuiro and Tatsuki or maybe the Isshin, Ryuuken and Karin.
We know that Karin can see Shinigami, or at least Ichigo when he is. She is the daughter of Isshin after all as well. (Dammit! I want backstory!)
We know that Tatsuki has this rather random drawn-by-Kubo-himself picture of her in shikakushou and what looks like Komamura as a sword.
We know something's on with the only two doctors in town.
And we left Keigo and Mizuiro with Urahara (along with Tatsuki, but she's already got her mention).
GAH! Can you see how annoyed I am? There's all this stuff swirling in my head about how Tats has always been stronger than Ichigo, and how Karin can see ghosts to the same degree that Ichigo can but she's younger and it's stirring up all sorts of interesting hypothesses about Isshin and Ryuuken and somewhat on a tangent their wives because I think that's relevant.
And NO you may not talk to me about my spelling as I'm getting frustrated now!
I'm practically starved, and this means I'll read anything that's been well written on the subject.
I want something about those characters. 'Specially Karin. *starts hyperventilating*

Karin has been able to see hollows all along, and her powers took a giant leap after the Grand Fisher incident. She was able to see Ichigo as a shinigami then, but blurry; since then she can see him clearly.
BUT I agree with you. I want to know what's happening in Karakura!

Urahara and Yoruichi - 'former strongest duo' doesn't mean they are the two strongest in soul socitey. Just means, as a duo they were the strongest.
And then they have had 100 years to become rusty. (I think even Yoruichi said that.
Isshin, yeah... He is captain level... Don't know if he ever was a captain or if captain level means he has bankai or if he just has the equivalent amount of power.
Karin - And your point is? She can see him = she's practically at the same point that Ichigo was in the beginning.
If someone shinigami was fighting off a 'car at the moment and she was the only one around, they probably do what Rukia did. (And I'm thinking it'd be Isshin...) And NO, you can have tha little plot bunny.

Date: 2006-12-25 10:41 pm (UTC)Karin has been exposed to Ichigo's power leaking a lot. Even though she's only been there once when Ichigo was fighting, she lives in the same house and is probably being steadily strengthened. I think by now she's stronger than Ichigo was.

My random crack idea stolen from someone at kurosaki_clinic: Yuzu is actually Ishida's half-brother.
*brain goes patta patta patta* Yuzu can see fuzzy ghosts. She only sees blurrs, but she can still see them.
