Anyway, this morning (I actually got up before 12) I was randomly thinking about my mother and her want to have grand-children.
So I came up with the fallacy: My mother is Chinese/Fillipino. She wants grandchildren. Therefore all Chinese/Fillipino mothers want grandchildren.
Actually, that fallacy is rather accurate when it comes to my mother's family so it may not actually be a fallacy.

Either way, fallacy or not, I was suddenly bowled over by the common fan perception that Roy's mother is Xingian.
Xingian = Chinese

So now my brain brought home a little idea.

Now, while we're on the subject of Roy's mother, I think Lina was probably the trendsetter for her being Xingian. So I applaud you and I'll snitch the idea like everybody else has.

So I've got the idea for Roy's mother being rather fincky and visiting for who knows what reason and badgering him about wanting some grandchildren before she dies.
And, like all mothers-in-law or whatever you call a mother-who-is-your-partner's-but-you-aren't-married-so-it-isn't-by-law-so-let's-just-say-by-acquantince, she'll badger whoever he's with (doesn't matter if it's Ed or Riza or whoever, she'd probably find a fault with any Sue who'd try to get with her son) about all their faults but still managing a "You'll do" on her approval scale.
Still badgers them and Roy about how she wants some grandchildren.

Don't know how they'll manage that if I decide it's going to be an EdRoy. 
Be funny though.

Oh and lists of faults for both Riza and Ed.

Riza
- *sniff* A bit cold and formal aren't you?
- I don't care much for dogs, but I suppose to each their own..
- You crochet? I'm surprised you have.. other hobbies.

Ed
- Your temper seems to match your height. (Come on, he's got to inheirit it from SOMEONE)
- Surely you know where you stand in society?
- If you are an adult, at least behave like one.
- Flashy never bought good attention.

Oooooh yes. Both actually. The mother gave up, but the mother-in-law is still going strong. >.>
