And the assessed items were very tasty. Although I got pinged for seasoning, yet again.
Here, have some music to celebrate.
I am so happy the Brunettes have more vidoes on YouTube. It makes me happy that one of the, two? NZ bands that I actually like, has more videos up there.
Also, the reason I post this song in particular is because it's such a DOCTOR song. Except I can't figure out which companion between Rose or Donna.
Donna purely because of the "I'll call you my martian man" lyric, otherwise it's entirely Rose, because the Brunettes are very good at love songs.
The only words I have to describe this is 'indie two-person band rock' which is somehow ridiculously good.
I lie. I have more than two favourite NZ artists. This band has joined them and made the number four. (The other is Hera, who is also Icelandic and the other other is later in the post.)
If you don't pay attention to the lyrics, it's rather soothing. If you do, it's a bit more morbid.
And I find myself liking this one rather a lot.
The last of my favourite NZ bands. They're a bit more mainstream than all the others (or at least have that 'New Zealand' sound about them) but I do like them.
